LOOM!

Mila negotiated a huge box of loom bands in exchange for cleaning her room. 🙄

Here room is so bad, she needs motivation, so I agreed.

This morning I left for work at 6.30am and Mila’s light was on.

She was cleaning.

The heart-shaped box, filled with 3 trays of coloured looms was an enormous motivation.

So, it’s no surprise, that when I got home from work and asked about the day, it started with looms.

Lincoln made a rainbow loom band & he and Mila made lots of others.

Apparently, they were huge hit and they made them for 2 hours!!

Like our times table place mats? 😆 We’re making a huge effort to smash our times tables once and for all!

Next Mila & Dad worked on their children’s story book.

They’ve begun illustrations on a story they made up years ago.

It involves lots of animals.

Linc continued with his animation tutorials.

I wish I could show you. I’ll try to download it tomorrow.

He was telling me all about it over dinner and we’re excited to do more tomorrow.

When I got home from work they were heading to the park with Pepe.

After a few quick kisses, I plonked down on the sofa and did absolutely nothing.

I was so tired.

I woke at 3.30am and couldn’t get back to sleep. I just lay there. Thinking about trying to fall asleep, until my alarm went off at 6am.

It’s 5 to 11am and my eyes are scratchy.

Sleep in tomorrow.

Then pancakes.

Them home school in pyjamas.
