Day 112

5th May 2022

Wood Work

Liam had planned a day on the tools for the kids.

A couple of our friends joined them to make coat racks!

Lincoln worked on his Katana. He’s still going with the handle.

They measured, they used the saw, they drilled holes for screws, and they painted.

Liam really enjoyed teaching them and he said the kids LOVED using the tools and having their own space to work.

He said their confidence was soaring!

So good!!

Dad’s is the top left & Mila’s is the bottom right. The kids were so proud of their work. No excuse for a messy room now!

Core

Before their woodwork afternoon, Liam even managed to put them through their paces with English and Math’s!

Then Lincoln read a few pages out loud from one of our new library books on Cultural Issues & they discussed the things they learnt like what is culture, culture and religion & culture and law.

Well done Dad.

It’s only taken us 6 months, but I think this home school thing is finally coming together!

It’s been an epic day for me, and my eyes are closing as I type. Gotta get to bed. 😴😴😴

More tomorrow.

Over & out.
