Robotics

I was still so tired this morning.

Liam set an alarm and I just keep falling back to sleep & going into those deep micro sleeps with surreal dreams.

When I finally got up, I came out to find the kids had opened the science box and had already made this little robot.

“We didn’t even fight!” Mila declared.

I’m thinking if absolutely nothing else, they’ll never need help putting together their IKEA furniture!

Compass

I had to go into work today, so I left Liam to it.

He took them on a playdate to the beach with a heap of families. Today they were learning about the earth’s magnetic pull and how that works with a compass.

They made their own compass by first rubbing a needle against a magnet, spearing the needle through a cork and floating it in some water.

They watched as the needle pointed north.

Liam said he forgot to take photos, but they did a nature scavenger hunt as well.

Mila drew a picture of her friend Gypsy.

And that’s about it.

As he didn’t take any pictures 🙄it does make writing a bit tricky.

Work was long & I’m feeling tired & emotional.

Best not to blog when feeling like a train wreck.
